ELIGIBILITY
Requirements to compete
The contestant's age eligibility requirements are based on a calendar year, not a pageant cycle. A contestant must be the age of the division as of January 1, 2025. We do allow a 30-day grace period. Younger contestants may bump up an age group. In order to compete in the state pageant, the contestant must be a:

Age of a Preteen, Jr. Miss, Teen, Miss, or Mrs.
-
Texas resident, full-time employee, student, own land, and/or housing

Able to compete in all areas of competition.
